Event: Bankruptcy > Motions/Applications > Mortgage Modification Mediation - Motion to Participate

To begin the process of participating in the Chapter 13 Mortgage Modification Mediation Program in the Western District of Wisconsin (MMMWD), the debtor must file a Motion to Participate and serve a copy on the lender. The lender has 30 days to respond to said Motion. The Motion should state the requirements to qualify for MMMWD and include the terms of the order sought.

Filing Requirements:

  • Motion and Notice to Participate in Mortgage Modification Mediation (pdf)

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.
  2. Select [Bankruptcy > Motions/Applications].
  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).
  4. Select [Mortgage Modification Mediation - Motion to Participate] from the event list.
  5. Select the party filer.
  6. Browse to select the Motion (.pdf file).
  7. Enter name of mortgage creditor.
  8. Enter the last day to object (defaults to 30 days; modify if necessary).
  9. Modify the text as appropriate.
  10. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).
Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.

UPDATES

02/04/2022 Removed "After Order Signed" section. Order is filed after the stipulation consenting to MMM, not with the Motion to Participate.
