Request for Hearing re: Objection to Claim

When an Objection to Claim is filed, notice of opportunity for hearing is provided by the moving party. In other words, giving parties a period of time to request a hearing. When a Request for Hearing is filed, the clerk's office will generally schedule a hearing.
To File Electronically:
- Log into CM/ECF.
- Select [Bankruptcy > Claim Actions].
- Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).
- Select [Request for Hearing re: Objection to Claim] from the event list.
- Select the party filer. If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.
Note: The Attorney/Party Association screen may appear. If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association. -
Browse to select the Request for Hearing (.pdf file).
Note: Any supporting documents and the Proof of Service may be added as attachments to this document. - Check the box to Refer to the Objection to Claim.
- Modify the text as appropriate.
- Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).
Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
