Trustee Event: Bankruptcy > Trustee/US Trustee > Notice of Intent to Sell - FRBP 6004(d)] or [Notice of Intent to Use, Sell or Lease Property - FRBP 6004(a)

Debtor Event: Bankruptcy > Notices > Notice of Intent to Sell - FRBP 6004(d)] or [Notice of Intent to Use, Sell or Lease Property - FRBP 6004(a)

Filing Requirements:

  • Notice of Intent to Sell giving all creditors 14 days to object. Rule 6004(d)
  • Proof of Service
  • Note: A Proposed Order is NOT required.

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.
  2. Select [Bankruptcy > Trustee/US Trustee] when filed by Trustee. Select [Bankruptcy > Notices ] when filed by debtor.
  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).
  4. Select [Notice of Intent to Sell - FRBP 6004(d] or [Notice of Intent to Use, Sell or Lease Property - FRBP 6004(a)] from the event list.
  5. Select yourself (trustee) as the party filer.
  6. Browse to select the Notice (pdf file).
    Note: The Proof of Service may be added as an attachment to this document.
  7. Enter the last day to object (defaults to 14 days; modify if necessary).
  8. Modify the text as appropriate.
  9. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).
    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
  10. Electronically file the Proposed Order. Instructions
    Note: A Proposed Order is not required.
