After selecting a sub-menu category such as Motions/Applications, you now have the option of find an event by either scroll down the list or, in the search box, type all or part of a word  from the name of the event. (See Figure 1)

Note: The search will begin with the first letter typed; therefore, the search function does not accommodate the use of wildcard characters.

When you find the event or relief you are seeking, click it and it will be added to the Selected Events filed.  To select multiple events, hold down the Control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard while clicking them.

For example, to locate the Relief from Stay motion event, type “stay” in the search box. CM/ECF will display a list of events that have a word starting with the letters entered. (See Figure 2).   Click on the desired event “Relief from Stay” to select it from the list.

The selected event will then be added to the “Selected Events” box.  Once all of the necessary events have been selected, click the Next button to continue.

Continue with event selection until all necessary events available from the selected sub-menu category have been added to the "Selected Events" box. If an incorrect event is selected, click on the event to remove it from the list. Below, the Motion to Dismiss previously selected in Figure 2 and the Motion for Summary Judgment selected in Figure 3 appear in the "Selected Events" box.

Once all of the necessary events have been selected, click the Next button to continue.
