Event: Adversary > Miscellaneous > Request for Transcript of Judgment

A Transcript of Judgment is requested to register a judgment received in the bankruptcy court with a state or local court.

Note: A Certification of Judgment is requested to register a judgment received in the bankruptcy court with any other district (i.e., district court or bankruptcy court). The form may also be used to register a judgment received in bankruptcy court with a state or local courts.

The filing fee is $12.00. There must be a Money Judgment recorded in the Judgment Index (or for older Judgments, the Money Judgment Book).

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.
  2. Select [Adversary > Miscellaneous].
  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).
  4. Select [Request for Transcript of Judgment] from the event list.
  5. Select the party filer.
  6. Browse to select the Request for Transcript of Judgment (.pdf file).
    Note: Any supporting documents and the Proof of Service may be added as attachments to this document.
  7. To pay via credit card, leave the receipt field blank and select NEXT to continue filing.
  8. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).
    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.
