  2. Joint Certification by ALL Appellants and ALL Appellees acting jointly - Official Form 424
ECF Filing Event [Appeals > Joint Certification of Direct Appeal to Court of Appeals]
  3. Request (Petition) for Certification by one or more parties - but fewer than all of the Appellants and Appellees
ECF Filing Event [Appeals > Petition Requesting Direct Appeal]

Filing Requirements:

  • Notice of Appeal must be filed prior to or with the request for direct appeal. Refer to appeal filing requirements.
An additional $307.00 filing fee is due after the Court of Appeals accepts the Direct Appeal.
  • Joint Certification to Court of Appeals (Official Form 424) or Petition Requesting Direct Appeal with a copy of the order/judgment attached. The Certification or Request is filed with the court where the matter is pending.

A Joint Certification may be filed at any time. A Request (Petition) for Certification must be filed no later than 60 days after the entry of the order being appealed.
